Ober-Boerd Tradewind
Tradewind is a four year-old daughter out of my favorite (and first) Oberhasli doe, Tornado. Wind was
taken to our first show, and entered in one ring where she was Junior Champion! At the 2008 ADGA
National show, she was the 8th place Sr. Kid and a member of the 1st place Jr Get-of-Sire, along with her
twin sister, who was the 2nd place Sr. Kid. Tradewind was named the 2008 All-American Sr. Kid!
In 2009, Wind made the trip 2500 miles (one-way) to the ADGA National Show, where she was the 7th
place yearling milker! In three other shows, she has been 3x1st yearling milker!
While Wind did not place where I thought she should have in 2010, her daughter, Viento, made up for it by
placing 2nd Sr. Kid, and Wind's littermate was the 4th place Two-Year-Old!
Even though I was disappointed when Wind aborted in early 2011, the year was not totally lost. This
became apparent at the 2011 National Show. Wind was the 8th Place Three Year-Old, and her daughter,
Viento, was the 1st Dry Yearling and National Junior Champion! After that, Wind went into appraisal
receiving high praise and an impressive score of 91 EEEE, which was only equalled by Lilly!
Wind has developed into a replica of her beautiful mother-strong, powerful, deep and wide with excellent
general appearance. She has excellent overall shape to her mammary system, especially rear udder arch
and fore udder length and extension.
Tradewind has been shown 2x in 2012, being 2x1st. Her daughter, Viento was 2x1st and 2xGCH, 1xBOB at
the same show!
